Gerry Centennial Plaza is a 199,377 square foot retail development in Oswego, Illinois. Oswego is situated at the southern end of the Fox River Valley in Kendall County 50 miles southwest of Chicago. The site is located on Route 34 (Ogden Avenue) which has become an important retail corridor for the area. Big-box retailers such as Target, Dominick's, Office Max, TJ Maxx, and Home Depot are opened adjacent to the site. The Oswego community has maintained a small town character, while experiencing an 18% population growth rate over the last five years. Consequently, retailers such as Dick's Sporting Goods, Wal-Mart, Lowe's Home Improvement, Best Buy, Kohl's and other major nationals are under development along the Route 34 corridor. Upon completion of all new projects currently under development, the immediate area will comprise nearly one million square feet of retail.
